Opportunities to Volunteer
The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Assn. is seeking docents to help conduct tours, workshops and other special programs at the Los Angeles Zoo. Weekday and weekend training times are available. An information meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. July 27 at the zoo, situated on Zoo Drive in Griffith Park. In addition to the docent program, the zoo association is seeking high school students entering the ninth through 11th grades for the zoo student volunteer program. Student volunteers participate in the presentation of a variety of education programs. An information meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 20 at the zoo. Call (213) 664-1100, Ext. 363.
