Supervisors Consider Changes for Meetings

Share

Supervisor Don Saltarelli has asked his colleagues to consider meeting twice a month, both times at night, instead of weekly.

Saltarelli said the change would allow supervisors to more thoroughly research issues on the agenda and allow residents who work during the day to attend the meetings. The night meeting schedule would be similar to system used by city councils and school boards.

The Board of Supervisors currently hold three meetings per month in the morning and one at night. The night meetings were begun last year after residents complained that they could not attend the morning sessions.
