Obituaries : Louise C. Russo; 28-Year County Resident
Louise C. Russo of Port Hueneme has died after a long illness at the age of 83.
The 28-year resident of Ventura County was born May 9, 1913, in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
She was a homemaker for 62 years and was involved in the Republican Women’s Assn. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Oxnard and had served on the church’s prayer chain.
Russo was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Russo, a grandson, Darren Roy, and a great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Yandell.
She is survived by two daughters, Zoe Bruce of Cambria and Diane Schreiber of North Hollywood; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Oxnard. The Rev. Al Gorsline will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood.
