According to sheriff’s deputies, Frye ran his car into a brick wall near the pool about 10:15 a.m. Saturday. The incident was apparently minor, because witnesses told authorities that Frye got out of his car and waved to them and said he was OK.

Frye was found in the pool about 90 minutes later, Stevens said.

“He has no real medical history, and we’re not sure whether he died of any number of natural occurrences and, unfortunately, ended up in the pool, or if he drowned,” Stevens said.
