Fire Victims

Authorities made no progress Saturday identifying four victims of an apparent murder-suicide who died Friday in a Canyon Country apartment fire. . . . A spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner said an autopsy could be performed today on the two adults and two children, “depending on how busy we get.”

Burned Churches

Warner Brothers Records Inc. said it is joining the National Council of Churches’ campaign to raise money for burned churches. The Burbank-based recording company’s Warner Alliance on Tuesday will release a five-song “Christian spirit” cassette titled “No Weapon.” A portion of the proceeds will go to the fund to rebuild 55 churches that have been burned by arsonists.
