L.A. Jazz Society to Host Film Matinee

The Los Angeles Jazz Society is hosting a jazz film matinee Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Gallery Theatre, Barnsdall Art Park, 4800 Hollywood Blvd.
Rare clips of trumpeter Clifford Brown and saxophonists Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins and Lester Young, among others, will be screened by jazz archivist Mark Cantor. Admission is $5.
