The Los Angeles City Council issued a $25,000 reward Tuesday for information leading to the arrest of a tattooed burglar who critically injured a North Hills man and then sexually assaulted his wife.

The couple were severely beaten Aug. 26 after they confronted a burglar inside their home in the 9700 block of Burnet Avenue. The intruder struck the 57-year-old male resident several times on the head with a weapon, knocking him unconscious.

Moments later, when the man’s wife confronted the intruder, the intruder attacked her and forced her into another room, where she was sexually assaulted.
