Festival of Short Films to Begin Today

The first “Lo-con.com Festival of Short Films” will kick off today at the Powerhouse Theatre, 3116 2nd St., Santa Monica, at 7 p.m. and continue through Sunday.
The festival features shorts by independent filmmakers from across the country.
Winners in two categories will be selected by festival-goers.
