Bassen Undergoes Surgery on Disk

Dallas Star center Bob Bassen underwent surgery Saturday at Baylor University Medical Center to repair a herniated disk.
Bassen, 31, injured Sept. 18 against St. Louis on Sept. 18, is expected to be sidelined for three months. He was sidelined 69 games last season after rupturing a knee ligament in the exhibition season.
