Get Involved, New Student Leader Urges
As the newly installed student body president at Orange Coast College, Amy Wise wants to encourage her fellow students to get involved.
“Students who are actively involved during their college experience tend to become better students and more well-rounded persons,” the 19-year-old Fountain Valley resident said.
As a student at Los Amigos High School, Wise was senior class president, editor of the yearbook and president of the marine biology club. She also competed on the swim and volleyball teams.
In her first year at OCC, Wise served on several Associated Students committees and was also a member of the speech and debate team.
