Triforium Sculpture

Speaking of failures (“Tower Repair Is a Blow to City’s Can’t-Do Spirit,” Oct. 19), has anyone noticed the sad state the Triforium [near City Hall] is in? I remember 20 years ago when the Triforium spewed its noisy music and twinkled its lights. Now it is dirty, dark and silent. Only the pigeons seem to enjoy its comfortable roost. When it was new, it was certainly controversial, and most people either loved it or hated it. But most of all, it worked.
