Chris Adelmann has been named senior vice president of Warner Bros. International Theatres in Burbank.

He will work to help develop the company’s distribution and exhibition business in international markets.

Before coming to Warner Bros., Adelmann was director of worldwide business development for Hard Rock Cafe International Inc. for three years.

Attorney Christopher K. Kitasaki of Camarillo has been named a senior partner with the law firm of Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton in Oxnard. Kitasaki’s primary areas of practice are corporate law and business transactions and include a specialization in federal and state securities law compliance.

Kitasaki joined the law firm in 1990. He has been an attorney since 1983.

Kevin S. Hamilton of Agoura Hills, chief executive officer of Prime Matrix Wireless Communications, has been elected to the board of directors of the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a former scoutmaster.

Hamilton is president of the Newbury Park Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also is a member of the board of the Pierce College Foundation.

Chris Gardner was appointed vice president and general manager of Vitesse Semiconductor’s new automated test equipment division. The new division consists of engineering and product marketing and is located at Vitesse’s corporate headquarters in Camarillo.

Gardner joined Vitesse in 1986.

Debbie Giles has joined the staff of the Ventura Visitors and Convention Bureau as director of communications. She will be responsible for the bureau’s public relations functions and will focus on generating positive publicity for Ventura in consumer and travel publications across the western United States.

Previously, Giles was the communications manager for United Way of Ventura County.
