Hart 40, Burbank 6--Travis Carroll completed 25 of 36 passes for 298 yards and five touchdowns as the fourth-ranked Indians (6-2, 3-0) rolled at Burroughs High.

Carroll’s favorite targets were Cody Joyce, with eight catches for 101 yards and a touchdown, and Scott Collins, who had seven catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

Carroll, who has passed for 1,819 yards and 20 touchdowns, rushed for 66 yards in 10 carries.

Hart opened up a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter and Burbank’s offense sputtered throughout. The Bulldogs (2-6, 0-3) were held to 151 yards.

Burbank’s Brian Ling completed only three of 15 passes for 96 yards with four interceptions. He did hook up with Jason Edwards on a 68-yard touchdown pass play late in the game.
