Note of Thanks for Roadside Aid
I want to thank all the very considerate people that offered help after my car broke down by Fashion Island shopping center Oct. 16.
My wife and I were being tourists for a day in Newport Beach. As we drove up from Coast Highway, my car quit. By the time I got out of the car, a man had stopped his car and offered his car phone. As we waited for the tow truck, about every other driver asked if they could help. The tow truck driver was stopped by a lady in the parking lot and directed to us.
In today’s cynical world, it is great to know people will help a stranger in trouble with no conditions attached.
Thanks again to all the helping hands and friendly faces. I hope to pass that kind of consideration to others.
