Fire and Marine Dept. Gives $1,900 to Charity
The Newport Beach Fire and Marine Department has donated $1,900 to the Orange County Burn Assn.
The city’s Firefighter Assn. sold T-shirts, hot dogs and sodas at a fund-raiser to make the gift possible.
The money will benefit programs that help survivors of serious burns, organizers said.
