Magnitude 3.3 Quake Shakes Kern County

BAKERSFIELD —
A magnitude 3.3 earthquake struck Sunday night near Lake Isabella, about 50 miles east of here, a seismologist said.
The Kern County temblor hit at 8:06 p.m., said Bob Dollar, a seismologist with the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. The epicenter of the quake, which was not an aftershock, was located 14 miles southeast of Lake Isabella.
