* Update: Rod Perry Jr., who said he will attend USC next fall, had six receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown in a 20-15 victory over Capistrano Valley.

* Update: The Steelers recorded their fourth shutout, their third in the last four weeks, with a 48-0 victory over A.B. Miller. Art Gipson rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

* Update: With the Cubs clinging to a 9-7 lead in the third quarter, 5-foot-6 running back Jose Mendoza broke loose for a 64-yard touchdown run to help his team to an 18-7 victory over St. John Bosco.

* Update: The Panthers won their third consecutive Bay League title with a 58-10 victory over Santa Monica.


* Next: Friday vs. Western at Cal State Fullerton.

* Update: The Friars won their fifth game in a row, 63-14 over Westminster. Greg Cicero passed for 272 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.


* Next: Friday vs. Trabuco Hills.

* Update: Joe Cordova passed for only 125 yards, and had two passes intercepted in the second half, as the Braves lost to Loyola for the 10th consecutive time, 18-7.

* Update: Vincent Starks had two touchdown receptions and rushed for another in a 47-3 victory over Lynwood. The Dons led, 40-0, at halftime.

* Update: The Terriers clinched a playoff berth with a 43-0 victory over Rialto. In their last four games, they have outscored opponents, 126-9.

* Update: The Huskies overcame a 14-0 deficit to defeat Jurupa Valley, 35-14. Damion Barton rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns and had one touchdown reception.

* Update: The Cougars rebounded from a loss to Corona Centennial with a 49-28 victory over Corona. Joel Eckenrod rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns and also returned a punt for a touchdown.

* Update: The Pirates became the school's first team in 46 years to finish the regular season without a loss or tie after a 41-8 victory over Gardena. San Pedro's defense forced six turnovers.

* Update: The Scorpions clinched their first league title since 1984 by defeating Channel Islands, 49-15, in their eighth consecutive victory.

* Update: A week after upsetting Alta Loma, the Cougars clinched the Mt. Baldy League title with a 31-0 victory over Etiwanda for their fifth win in a row.
