Hart 41, Downey 7--The Indians (9-2), behind the passing of Travis Carroll, scored touchdowns on their first four possessions in routing the Vikings at College of the Canyons.
Carroll completed 19 of 27 passes for 359 yards, including scoring passes of 26 yards to Brian Pritchett and 61 yards to Cody Joyce in the second quarter for a commanding 28-7 lead at the half.
The defense, led by Todd Hourigan and John Harrison, limited the Vikings (4-7) to 185 yards. Hourigan added scoring runs of one, five and three yards.
The Indians rolled up 484 yards in offense.
Joyce led the Indians with seven catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. C.J. Bonds caught six passes for 129 yards.
Reserve quarterback David Neill finished the Hart scoring by connecting with sophomore receiver Jerry Owens for a 20-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
