Hollywood, take note! San Francisco and Australia now offer tourist guides to their movieland shrines.

The “Australian Movie Map,” which is free and new this fall, spots sites associated with more than 40 movies, including “Picnic at Hanging Rock” (1975), “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” (1994), “Babe” (1995) and, of course, “ ‘Crocodile’ Dundee” (1986). To order, call the Aussie Help Line: (847) 296-4900..

The “San Francisco Movie Map” ($6.95) is actually two maps. A city map shows sites linked to more than 100 films and television shows, organized by areas and landmarks. Alfred Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” (1958) and Dashiell Hammett merit detailed listings. The other map shows more than 15 Bay Area movie locations. The map, also new this fall, is available in Bay Area bookstores and by calling The Reel Map Co.: (415) 824-1819.
