A weekly update on the Mighty Ducks.

A perfect three-game set for the Ducks, who beat Chicago, Edmonton and Tampa Bay with a little bit of everything. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

* Where they stand: 9-14-4 (22 points), tied for sixth in Pacific Division, tied for 10th in Western Conference.

* Who’s hot: Guy Hebert has given up only two third-period goals in his last seven games and is 5-1-1 with a 1.27 goals-against average.

* Who’s not: It’s the wrong week to look for anyone here.

UPCOMING

* Today, at Buffalo (4:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): Every night is an adventure for the Sabres and the Northeast Division. Dominik Hasek sets the tone in goal. Scoring comes from such diverse players as Donald Audette, Michal Grosek or Dixon Ward--if it comes at all.

* Saturday, at Pittsburgh (5 p.m., ESPN2): Pittsburgh is just one question mark amid the riddle that is the Northeast. The luxury line of Jaromir Jagr, Mario Lemieux and Ron Francis appeared to have given the Penguins some momentum. Then Hartford’s economy squad tied them Tuesday to stay atop the Northeast standings.

* Monday, at Boston (4:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): Jozef Stumpel and Steve Heinze are trying to help Adam Oates lift the Bruins, another Northeast team waiting for something positive to happen.

* Wednesday, Pittsburgh (7:30 p.m., KCAL-TV Channel 9): Alex Hicks, a former Duck, is getting into the offense as well as paying attention to his responsibilities on defense for the Penguins, who got out of the Northeast cellar by beating Ottawa Wednesday night.
