2 Drivers Sought in Hit-and-Run That Killed Pedestrian
A man walking across Laurel Canyon Boulevard was killed in a hit-and-run accident late Saturday night, police said.
Orlando Zauzo was crossing near the 10600 block of Laurel Canyon shortly before 11 p.m., when he was struck by a car traveling south, said Sgt. Bill Mulvhill of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley traffic division.
After the first car hit him and kept moving, another car ran over Zauzo as he was lying in the street, Mulvhill said. Though witnesses tried to help Zauzo, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are searching for the drivers of the two cars.
