Dehere, Wright Dropped From Starting Lineup
Guard Terry Dehere and center Lorenzen Wright, who had started the last three games, were replaced in the opening lineup by guard Malik Sealy and center Kevin Duckworth in Sunday’s 90-69 loss at Cleveland.
Dehere, who had made one of seven shots and scored a total of three points in his last two games, made four of nine shots and had 10 points in 22 minutes. Sealy missed six of eight shots and had five points.
Duckworth had three points in seven minutes. Wright, who started the third quarter, missed three of four shots and had two points and six rebounds in 26 minutes.
Dehere, who had 30 family members present for Saturday’s 89-80 loss at New York, played only eight minutes against the Knicks.
Dehere said he didn’t ask Clipper Coach Bill Fitch why he didn’t play more in his homecoming.
“I don’t ask questions,” Dehere said. “When I’m called upon to work, I work. I don’t question authority.”
