Armed Robber Flees With Cash From Huntington Eatery
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A man robbed the Coco’s Family Restaurant at 6886 Bolsa Ave. on Friday by showing a gun tucked into his waistband to a cashier, police said.
“He came in and robbed the front area, the cash register, and split with the money,” said Huntington Beach Police Lt. Gary Brooks.
Police responded to the call at 8:53 p.m. The gunman escaped.
None of the restaurant patrons were injured or robbed, Brooks said.
A restaurant manager would not comment.
