Irvine Valley Routs Santa Monica, 79-47

Irvine Valley took a 25-point lead at halftime, then cruised to a 79-47 victory over Santa Monica in a nonconference women’s basketball game Tuesday at Irvine Valley College.
Dyanna Hatch had 25 points and eight rebounds and Heather Cunningham had 15 points for the Lasers (9-2).
Santa Monica is 1-8.
