Clipper update--They’ve won three consecutive games, one shy of their longest streak of the season. Guard Pooh Richardson sat out the last three games because of a sprained right ankle. Forward Loy Vaught has averaged 19.5 rebounds in his last two games. After failing to score 100 or more points in 13 consecutive games, the Clippers have averaged 114 points in their last two.
Bullet update--In the four games before Wednesday’s game against Phoenix, they had shot 52.9% from the field and were averaging 105.3 points. They had won two consecutive road games. Forward Chris Webber, who had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in Sunday’s 110-102 victory at Golden State, is averaging 19.9 points and 10 rebounds.
