Fire Causes $300,000 in Damage to Business
A fire early Thursday caused about $300,000 in damage to a company that manufactures decorative waterfalls, authorities said.
A California Highway Patrol officer about 3:40 a.m. saw smoke billowing from the roof of Troyco Co. in the 18400 block of Mount Langley Street and summoned firefighters. It took about 30 minutes to control the blaze, city spokesman Donal Heinbuch said.
Two adjacent units in the business complex received smoke and water damage, Heinbuch said. No one was injured, firefighters said.
