Artists’ Entries Invited for Show
Artists from Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties are invited to submit entries for the Thousand Oaks Art Assn. annual juried show by Jan. 8.
The show is scheduled from Feb. 1 to Feb. 23 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331-A Borchard Road. The show’s juror will be James Jarvaise, an instructor at Oxnard College and abstract Expressionist painter whose works are shown around the world. Cash awards will be presented to the top entries.
To enter, artists are asked to submit an application and slides of their work. Applications are available at the gallery in Thousand Oaks, and at the Janss Marketplace, 215 Moorpark Road, Space F, Thousand Oaks.
A reception will be held Feb. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m, with the awards ceremony beginning at 3 p.m.
