Restaurant Workers Robbed, Beaten
Employees of a Thousand Oaks restaurant had a scare early Monday morning after four armed men robbed and roughed them up.
The men came into Romano’s Macaroni Grill at 4000 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. about 1:10 a.m. They ordered the employees to the ground and tied them up, a spokesman for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said.
The employees were kicked and beaten by the robbers, who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, the spokesman said.
