The Trojans are feeling especially happy with themselves after defeating Ohio State last Saturday without suspended starters Rodrick Rhodes, Stais Boseman and Gary Williams. The trio returns against the Rebels, but Trojan Coach Henry Bibby is not likely to forget that in their absence the team played its best game of the season. Ken Sims will probably play an expanded role, as will Elias Ayuso. Sims showed Saturday, with five three-point baskets, that he can provide necessary outside shooting. And Ayuso had 17 points, four assists and four steals in his first extended action of the season. The Rebels are led by center Keon Clark, but he has been slowed by a knee injury recently. The USC-UNLV game is the second of a doubleheader. Georgetown plays Pacific first.
