Jazz update--Utah and Chicago were the only playoff teams to make no significant changes over the tumultuous free-agent summer and their cohesion shows. With the Karl Malone-John Stockton-Jeff Hornacek triangle, the Jazz was already the game’s most efficient offensive team, if not its deepest, but the development of Greg Ostertag and Bryon Russell has helped. Russell, the former Cal State Long Beach star, is shooting 44% on three-point shots, 10th in the league.
