County Half-Marathon Is Sunday in Irvine

IRVINE — The Orange County Half-Marathon and 5K will be Sunday morning in Irvine. The half-marathon starts at 8, with the 5K beginning at 8:15.
A 1K event for kids will start at 10 a.m. The course will start and finish near the corner of Sand Canyon and Barranca in Irvine.
Race-day registration will start at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Runners can register up to 2 p.m. today at A Snail’s Pace, 8780 Warner Ave., Fountain Valley. Cost is $22 for the half-marathon, $18 for the 5K and $12 for the 1K. Participants also receive a T-shirt and tote bag.
