Long Beach State has lost three consecutive games but remains tied for second place in the Western Division. Utah State is tied for first with Nevada in the Eastern Division. The 49ers lost in overtime to Nevada Thursday night, 85-82. In that game, James Cotton scored 21 points, but was only seven of 24 from the field--including three of nine three-point attempts. Teammate Brandon Titus scored 22, but he was only eight of 18 (one of seven from three-point range).
