No Sympathy for Tea

Regarding reader Jonathan Korejko’s letter (“Time for Tea,” Feb. 2) in reaction to your Lincoln, England, article [in which he urged Americans to drink tea while there], I’d bet that if you shook him awake in the middle of the night back in Lincoln and asked him what he drank while in the Los Angeles area for a family reunion, he’d answer “tea”--not our American coffee.
So much for leaving your tea dependency at home, English duplicity and “when in Rome . . .” theories.
