What Are You Drinking

“My wife and I just had our second child recently, but to tell the truth, we were so fried, we didn’t get around to drinking anything to celebrate until a couple of days later. The first time we had a breather--both kids asleep at the same time--we had a nice dinner and opened a bottle of 1993 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Aux Combottes.’ Most ‘93s tend to be on the not-ready-to-drink side, but this one definitely is. It’s amazingly supple and drinkable, even in its youth.”
