Clipper update--They’ve won four in a row to match their longest winning streak of the season. Forward Loy Vaught has averaged 20.5 points and 9.7 rebounds in his last three games. Vaught had 28 points and 11 rebounds in a 114-111 win over the Nuggets on Jan. 24 at the Sports Arena. The Clippers have won four of their last six games against Denver.

Nugget update--They’ve lost six in a row, including a 112-108 overtime loss to the New York Knicks on Friday night. The Nuggets acquired five players before the Feb. 20 trading deadline, sending guard Mark Jackson and center LaSalle Thompson to Indiana for swingman Vincent Askew, forward Eddie Johnson and a draft pick; and getting center George Zidek and guard Anthony Goldwire from Charlotte for guard Ricky Pierce. Denver also acquired Jerome Allen from Indiana for forward Jerome Allen.
