Outlook: The Chargers were one of the county’s pleasant surprises a year ago, beating Esperanza for the Sunset League title. The scenario will be different this spring, as all eyes will be on the green and gold. Moreno, the sprint/jumps coach a year ago, takes the reins this spring. Bardone and Moos form one of the area’s strongest sprint duos. Bardone has run the 100 in 10.9 seconds and the 200 in 22.65. His best mark in the long jump is 22-3 1/2. Moos ran the 100 in 11.3, 200 in 22.91, and 400 in 51.96 last year. Stokes cleared 15-0 in the pole vault last year and he should compete for the title at the county championships this season.
