Beginning with the 1998-99 school year, Bryant Ranch Elementary School graduates will go to Travis Ranch School rather than Bernardo Yorba Middle School, and Bryant Ranch’s sixth grade will move to Travis Ranch.
That change was approved by officials of Placentia-Yorba Linda School District after several weeks of debate as a way to ease overcrowding.
Trustees also voted to move Rio Vista Elementary School’s sixth grade to Kraemer Middle School beginning this fall.
The district will also continue to study a proposal to put a Rio Vista satellite campus of about 200 kindergartners and first-graders at the former McFadden School site, now owned by the city; and adding an elementary school in that area.
