Authorities are asking for the public’s help in capturing a man suspected of exposing himself to children in Lake Forest.

The latest incident occurred about 1:55 p.m. Thursday when the man got the attention of an 11-year-old boy by rustling some bushes in Serrano Park, Paddock said. The naked man jumped out of the bushes and chased the boy about 25 yards, Paddock said.

The boy, who was not harmed, ran to a nearby home and dialed 911, Paddock said. A helicopter, a bloodhound and a team of investigators were immediately dispatched to the scene but did not find the man, Paddock said.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 10, white, about 30 years old and 190 pounds with wavy brown shoulder-length hair, Paddock said.

Thursday’s incident closely resembled one reported March 10, when a naked man chased two 12-year-old girls along the Serrano Creek equestrian trail, Paddock said. Neither girl was injured.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department sex crimes unit at (714) 647-7419 during business hours or (714) 288-6741 after hours.
