Flyers Lose Coffey for at Least a Week

Paul Coffey, the NHL’s all-time leading scorer among defensemen, will be sidelined one to two weeks because of a separated shoulder but should rejoin Philadelphia in time for the playoffs. Coffey was injured in Tuesday’s victory over New Jersey. . . . San Jose has appealed a 13-game suspension imposed on left wing Andrei Nazarov for shoving a linesman during an altercation with Edmonton’s Bryan Marchment.
