Duck update--Right wing Teemu Selanne and goaltender Guy Hebert hope to return to the lineup tonight. Selanne, the NHL’s second-leading scorer with 47 goals and 98 points, has been sidelined four games because of strained muscles near his left rib cage. Hebert sat out two games because of exhaustion after starting 23 in a row. The Ducks beat Detroit, 1-0, Sunday to end their six-game trip.

Blackhawk update--Defenseman Chris Chelios was among the scoreboard-watchers Sunday, rushing inside the dressing room after a 3-2 victory over Buffalo in time to see Steve Rucchin score the game-winner against Detroit. Center Brent Sutter hopes to return from a sprained left knee that has sidelined him the past two games.
