The Ventura Fire Department is hosting Fire Sprinkler Road Show ‘97, a home safety demonstration that starts today and continues through Friday in east Ventura.

Equipped with a special home fire-sprinkler trailer, firefighters will travel to 10 neighborhoods and perform a live fire demonstration to show residents how to stay safe at home, said Fire Chief Dennis J. Downs.

In addition, an engine company and city paramedics will be on hand to display a new firetruck and new rescue ambulances.
