They May Be Headless, but They Were Trying

Grahame Jones’ description of the Galaxy at their May 25 game as a bunch of “headless chickens running around” is shameful, as is his statement that skill was absent except for Columbus’ Brad Friedel. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Galaxy had one of their best games of the season, demonstrating how hard team members have worked on improving their play. It’s time for this team to get some well-deserved and long-overdue respect from the press.
