3.7 Quake Occurs Off San Diego County Coast
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake centered off the San Diego County coast near the southern tip of San Clemente Island occurred Tuesday at 5:34 a.m., Caltech seismologists reported.
The earthquake was several miles west of quakes of 4.5. 4.3 and 4.1 magnitude that took place on June 19 and 20 and, like them, was in the offshore San Clemente fault zone.
None of the temblors has caused any damage.
