Bledsoe Is Named in Lawsuit
A woman injured last month at a nightclub where two New England Patriots jumped off the stage into the crowd filed suit against the football players, the nightclub and members of the band that was playing. Named in the suit were quarterback Drew Bledsoe, offensive guard Max Lane, the Paradise nightclub and three members of the band Everclear--Art Alexakis, Craig Montoya and Greg Eklund.
Tameeka Messier, 23, of Maynard, Mass., claimed in the suit that Bledsoe jumped off the stage and landed on top of her. After the Nov. 13 incident, Messier had two disks removed from her neck and replaced with a piece of bone from her hip.
