Scholarship Fund Begun in Name of Accident Victim
The family of a Pepperdine law student killed by a suspected drunk driver last week has set up a scholarship fund in her honor.
Kimberly Dawn Ellis, 22, was killed along with Jeannine Gregory, also 22, in a head-on collision on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Dec. 9. Two other students were injured in the crash.
The friends had been studying for an exam on civil procedure when they took a study break to drive to a nearby McDonald’s. Their car was struck by a minivan.
Donations can be made to: The Kimberly Dawn Ellis Scholarship Fund, c/o Steven Potts, Associate Dean, Pepperdine Law School, Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA 90263.
