Norman Flicker, 68, executive vice president of the Samuel Goldwyn Co. A lawyer educated at New York University, Flicker served in the Navy and then began his film industry career in the legal department of Paramount Pictures in New York. He rose to vice president and helped structure contracts for such films as “Love Story,” “The Godfather,” “The Great Gatsby” and “Becket.” He next worked as senior vice president of Dino DeLaurentiis Entertainment, developing foreign pre-sales deals to raise production funds. Flicker joined Goldwyn in 1984 and arranged contracts for the company’s specialty films, including “The Madness of King George” and others from abroad.
