Hicks’ Excitement Builds
No Bruin player is more excited about playing Texas A&M; on Jan. 1 in Dallas than running back Skip Hicks, a native of Wichita Falls.
“It will be pretty emotional playing in front of my hometown,” Hicks said.
Hicks has been trying to explain what football means to people in Texas.
“They love it to death,” he said. “It’s unbelievable. You just don’t know how excited people are for football. Every Friday night, the towns shut down.”
