Toddler Left at Store Reunited With Mom
A 2-year-old boy was dropped off at a video store Monday, possibly by a kidnapper, police said.
The toddler walked into El Rio Video about 1:30 p.m. with a note pinned to him reading, “This child is for you, he doesn’t have a mother.”
Police located the mother when she reported the boy missing later Monday afternoon.
The child appeared to be healthy, authorities said. He was placed in foster care before the mother was found.
No arrests have been made.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information to call the department at 654-2311.
