TONIGHT vs. Kansas
* 7:30 * Fox Sports West
Site--Sports Arena.
Radio--KIEV 870.
Records--Trojans 4-3, No. 2 Jayhawks 13-1.
Update--Backup point guard Kevin Augustine probably will sit out because of tendinitis in his right shoulder. That means when Coach Henry Bibby rests starter Gary Johnson, the Trojans will rely on 6-foot-8 senior forward Gary Williams, who had never played point guard before Saturday. He will be facing Kansas guards Billy Thomas and Ryan Robertson, who have 25 and 21 steals, respectively. But that isn’t the Trojans’ biggest problem. With sophomore forward Jarvis Turner still recovering from a broken hand, they will be thin against the Jayhawks’ dominating frontline, which includes potential All-Americans Paul Pierce and Raef LaFrentz.
