Irvine Valley’s Griffin Scores 29 in Victory
Robert Griffin made five three-pointers and was six of six from the free-throw line to finish with 29 points as Irvine Valley defeated Palomar, 81-59, in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday night in San Diego.
The Lasers (10-4) outscored Palomar, 45-24, in the second half. David Wilson, filling in for center Matt Houser, who was ill, scored 18 points and Damion Raibon added 13 points for Irvine Valley.
